Kembara Borneo....

2015 Kembara Borneo ..

(23 -29 March 2015)

Tomorrow early morning we will be flying to Kota Kinabalu where we will start our Kembara Borneo riding through Sabah, Brunei and Sarawak with 15 others. The discovery Borneo on wheels, is organised by Wilhin Motor Club and this is the first time we are joining the club.

Last Friday we had arranged with MASkargo to fly our motorbikes to Kota Kinabalu and on Monday we will collect them at the airport.

We will ride carefully and safely.

Tonight we hosted the family gathering at our Bidara House and celebrated birthdays for those who were born in March. Our western dishes for dinner were prepared by Chef Munawar. We had roasted lamb with mashed potato and coleslaw and seafood pasta.

The rest of the dishes and desserts were contributed by others...

Selangor - The Kabin Fever...

Surprisingly, we were quite free that weekend…

When Sara invited us to join her Ex-STF weekend retreat at the Kabin in Kuala Selangor, it was also an opportunity to get away from our routine hectic life and be with the kids and grandchildren. Iwan and family came to join us in the evening and we had dinner at one of the seafood restaurants at Pantai Remis while the STFians were having BBQ dinner at the Kabin.

The Kabin, situated next to Remis Beach is a unique holiday container lodging with swimming pools, a modest café, BBQ area, a multi-purpose hall and bicycle rentals facilities. A short distance away is the beach, packed on weekends, quite cosy and clean for picnicking and swimming. There are also a few eatery outlets around the area.
