Selamat Hari Raya Eidil-fitri...

"May this Hari Raya blessed us with joy and happiness..."

(Eidil-fitri at Bidara house)

For the last six years Hubby and I have been celebrating Hari Raya at my parents house in Melaka. Being the eldest girl in the family, I would be by my ailing bed-ridden parents, reciting the raya takbir softly with them on the eve of the Eid. I missed those beautiful moments now...

Both my parents have passed on, a year apart. For the first time after so many years, this year we celebrated the Eidil-Fitri at our Bidara house with our children and grandchildren.

Breaking Fast with the Orphans...

"The time is always right to do what is right..." - Martin Luther King Jr

(An orphanage in Seremban)

In the holy month of Ramadan the bikers gang organised a simple break of fast event with the orphans. After the berbuka puasa, we performed the terawih prayers together. The bikers gang had also collected some donations and distributed 'duit raya' to the needy children.

Ramadhan Family Get Together...

"The love in our family flows strong and deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep..."

(A few family members missing)

We hosted a breaking of fast event for our family in our Bidara house. We ordered kambing and ayam beriyani and satay. As it was a pot-luck dinner there was plentiful of food for everyone.

No family is perfect, we argue and we fight. We even stop talking to each other at times. But in the end, family is family.

The love and care will always be there...
