A picnic trip to Sg Kelah...

"One of the nice things about the Senior Tour is that we can take a cart and cooler. If your game is not going well, you can always have a picnic..." - Lee Trevino

Early Morning Briskwalking...

“To ensure good health: eat lightly, breathe deeply, live moderately, cultivate cheerfulness, and maintain an interest in life...”

(A sunflower garden at Hospital Selayang)

Lately the traffic around our housing area is getting heavier. So we decided to walk to Hospital Selayang and walk a few rounds around the compound.

While brisk walking around the hospital compound we stopped at the well maintained garden to admire the blooming sunflowers and Japanese roses. There is also a small flower nursery near the water tank on the hill.

A short morning ride...

" There are old bikers and there are bold bikers, but there are no old, bold bikers...” - Evel Knievel

(Contemplating on the destination)

It was the shortest ride ever.

When we started from our Bidara house, the sky was already gloomy. We took the LATAR highway and rode from end to end. It was raining lightly when we reached the last Tol booth. We decided to make a U-turn and rode back when the rain became heavier.

There's this saying, if you don't ride in the rain, you don't ride at all. And then we only regret the rides we didn't take.

My Tokmak Putih and my Abah...

"The bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life..." - Richard Bach

(My abah and his mom)

In her younger days, my grandma was a pretty fair lady.

She was so fair and always blushing pink under the hot sun. She had greyish blue eyes and short-sighted since she was young. When my grandpa married her, the villagers thought that he married an orang putih. Actually my grandma or Tokmak Putih to her grandchildren, was an albino. She was born genetically without skin and hair pigmentation.

Only the ladies in the family inherited this albino traits. Almost all my aunties are albino or at least partially. Luckily my father and the rest of the men in the family were spared of this condition.

Lucky me...

Hana and Amir at GPO...

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it...”

(Hana and Amir at GPO)

We were babysitting Hana and Amir when Iwan and Ella travelled to Singapore for the Universal Studio Halloween Night. On the weekend, we drove to Genting Highlands Premium Outlets and spent the whole afternoon there.

Masjid Sri Sendayan...

"Our prayers may be awkward. Our attempts may be feeble. But since the power of prayer is in the one who hears it, our prayers do make a difference...” - Max Lucado

(A beautiful architecture of Masjid Sri Sendayan)

Masjid Sri Sendayan is one of the latest tourist attractions in Seremban, known for its elegant and artistic Islamic architecture.

Many visitors have likened it to majestic buildings around the world like the Taj Mahal, Masjid Nabawi and mosques from the Ottoman empire. The mosque is built from the donation by RHB Group founder Tan Sri Abd Rashid Hussain, who was very particular about the mosque’s design. Every corner of the mosque has his personal touch.

We visited the mosque and performed Maghrib and Isya prayers with a crowd of tourists who came from all over Malaysia.

SMKB girls and boys gathering...

“A friend is someone who understands your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are...”

(The SMKB girls at Adilah's house)

A group of SMKB old girls travelled all the way from KB for a small reunion with those in KL. They spent a night or two at a few friends houses in Negeri Sembilan and Shah Alam.
