About Me

My photo
I am married to my loving husband for more than 40 years now. I am a mother to 3 beautiful children, until years ago when I lost my youngest son. Since then my life is forever altered but yet unbroken....

Negeri Sembilan - Popia Kuala Kangsar...

"We live in an age when unnecessary things are our necessities..." - Oscar Wilde

(Wet and fried popia)

If you are looking for good popia try the popia Kuala Kangsar in Seremban located at the food arena of Stadium Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Paroi or locally called as Stadium Paroi.

There are 2 types of Popia available, Popia basah and Popia Goreng. Between the two I prefer the crispy fried popia. The Popia is a simple vegetable spring roll but what makes the difference is that it is garnished with a tasty hot and sweet peanut sauce.

We have frequented this place many times especially when we were on our way back from Melaka after my nurse duty.

My 3rd grandchild, a boy...

"Grandchildren are the dots that connect the lines from generation to generation..." - Lois Wyse

(Amir Ashran bin Mirwan Ashran)

A beautiful healthy baby boy was born today at 7.15pm in Pantai Hospital weighing 3.04kg. We are now proud grandparents of three beautiful grandchildren of two girls and a boy.

So on this day when you came
Was the best day I could have ever thought
Never mind fortune and fame
Go through lessons in life that can never be bought...

Kembara Qurban 2 in the news

“Bad news travels at the speed of light; good news travels like molasses...” - Tracy Morgan

(Our Kembara Qurban in the Tamil Paper)

That day when we started our riding journey for our Kembara Qurban, we flagged off by some biker friends. And there Kati had invited a reporter from one of the Tamil papers to cover our trip.

We need somebody to decipher the tamil for us to understand the story!

The Traveller

May you travel in an awakened way
Gathered wisely into your inner ground
That you may not waste the invitations
Which wait along the way to transform you...

May you travel safely, arrive refreshed
And live your time away to its fullest
Return home more enriched, and free
To balance the gift of days which call you...

~ John O’Donohue ~
