Nurul Sate Batang Pinang, Puchong

(The lontong is quite a large portion)

Restoran Nurul Sate Batang Pinang is situated in Puchong.

The restaurant is situated in Jalan Tempinis, Kampung Tengah and away from the busy main road. The restaurant is quite spacious and has a nice kampung ambiance. There is a wedding hall next to the restaurant. We ordered at the cashier counter and when the food is ready, our number will be called. Their specialties are tenderloin satay and other traditional Malay food from Johor. There are varieties of dishes to choose from the menu.

We had lontong sambal sotong and lontong sambal paru to go with a plate of satay.

2022 15th Umrah Trip - Taif Day Trip

“Don’t be afraid to fail. It’s not the end of the world, and in many ways, it’s the first step toward learning something and getting better at it...” - Jon Hamm

(Abdullah Ibni Abbas Gate, Taif)

Today our group went for a day tour to Taif. Taif is about 90 km from Makkah. The journey by bus took us about more than an hour via Makkah Al-Taeef Route 15 Highway. The last time we went to Taif by another winding hilly route which took us more than two hours. The Route 15 highway was not completed yet then.

The weather was sunny and the sky was clear blue. We arrived Taif early. Our first visit was Abdullah Ibni Abbas Mosque for Dhuha prayers. Masjid Abdullah Ibn Abbas is build close to the grave of the great sahabi Abdullah Ibn Abbas. He was the paternal cousin of the Prophet and is revered by Muslims for his knowledge. He was an expert in Tafsir of the Quran and an authority on the Islamic Sunnah.
