"If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it..."
The Choices
When you allow your head to make choices,
You lose because of what you cannot see.
When you give way and let desire rules,
You lose because you want what cannot be.
'You inch along the dream-lit rocky ridges,
Knowing always, always you must lose.
The end for all is darkness everlasting,
And so it matters less which road you choose.
What matters is the beauty of sheer being
The gifts you have and those you will become
The ecstasy of loving so completely
More than the mind can plumb.
Love well and know that love must end in pain
Be a fool and pay the unmarked price.
Be generous of self, and passion gain
One who never loses, loses twice.
