About Me

My photo
I am married to my loving husband for more than 40 years now. I am a mother to 3 beautiful children, until years ago when I lost my youngest son. Since then my life is forever altered but yet unbroken....

Major repairs...

“Beauty is only skin deep, but ugly goes clean to the bone…”- Dorothy Parker

On the way back to our kebun Sg. Rambai, we stopped at Excel Training Centre at Broga to check on the team-building program attended by half of my staff. By the look of things, they were having so much fun. We didn’t stay too long and later took the Seremban-Melaka old road, stopped to eat the famous cendol Leman Dawi and reached our kebun late afternoon.

The whole afternoon, we tried our skills in carpentering and managed to assemble a few planks into make-shift steps for the chalet. The original steps had rotted and fallen apart long time ago. Next day, he bush-cut around the chalet. I excused myself from doing heavy work because of my back-ache and managed to clear some dried leaves. The chalet needs a new paint and some repairs. We'll think about all this after we return from our 4x4 trip to Phuket and Songkhla this coming CNY holiday....

A few pics taken around the chalet.

i am the opposite of my husband, while he enjoys staying at the pondok during musim durian, i prefer to have the durian served in my dining room..hahaha! teruk kan i?

I memang suka berkebun, tapi dorang kata tangan i ni panas. Pokok semua mati bila i tanam!

The kebun is our place of solace, to run away from our ususal hectic town life...

  6. aNIe,
InsyaAllah, your dream may come true one day. Kak nong and hubby kalau tak kemana2 suka relax kat chalet tu. Sangat peaceful...

Most probably 4x4 trip ke Tahiland tu kena postpone pasal banyak tarik diri last minute. May be next time.

With or without the rest, we'll still go on our own 4x4 trip for a camping holiday...

    Destination belum fikir lagi...
