About Me

I am married to my loving husband for more than 45 years now. I am a mother to 3 beautiful children, until years ago when I lost my youngest son. Since then my life is forever altered but yet unbroken....

The Pergola Garden...

"If you truly love nature, you will find beauty everywhere..." - Vincent Van Gogh

I enjoy gardening...

In between travelling and biking trips I love to indulge in gardening. Although I have little luck in keeping my plants alive when we are on long holidays, we still have some hardy plants like the Philodendron, Dracaena and snake plants  surviving. And of course my favorite bonsai Adenium will go into hiatus during our absence.

Our small fish pond under the pergola has been neglected for a very long time too. Slowly and surely we are trying to plant green foliages around the pergola again.

In time, greens make a beautiful garden..

T.G.I Friday's on a Sunday...

"All great achievements require time..." - Maya Angelou

(Western lunch on a Sunday)

We had a lunch date with the children and grandchildren.

Iwan just came back from Bogota after a 2-week work assignment there. And Sara was in town for the weekend to attend a half-day work related function in Bentong.

The only free time for all in the family to get together was on a Sunday!

Lunch with Applied Sciences gang...

"At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what others think as long as you're happy..."

(An old  triumph in front of the restaurant)

It was extra humid today.

Our lunch date with the Applied Sciences gang was scheduled at noon. We arrived early but there was no parking space available so we parked in Jaya Shopping Complex, a short walking distance away.

The choice of food was excellent. We had bryani, Nan, Capati and chicken tandoori for lunch. We talked about nothing in particular. It was an opportunity to reminisce and even cringe at old memories. At times we had differences in opinion but we avoided fighting tooth and nail on some matters and tried not to get pulled into any argument.

It's nice to meet up with old friends and see how matured we've grown...

(We have grown older and wiser)
