Sara and family were back in KL for the weekend.

They spent the rest of the Hari Raya holidays with us in our Bidara house, indulging in good food at our favorite eateries in town. Also an opportunity for the grandchildren to roam the malls and buy their story books and games with their duit raya.

It's that time of the year again for family gatherings.

This year's Eidil-fitri was celebrated at three of our siblings houses. Our family is multi-racials, Malay, Indian and Chinese. Some of us were born into this family, others joined by choice. Regardless, family union keeps us together, through good times and bad.

Family is what keeps us strong.

Thailand: Kembara Ramadhan Vol: 6

This year Kembara Ramadhan we travelled a total of 1,750 km journey to visit and perform our tarawih prayers in the mosques of Southern Thailand. During our 10-days kembara, we covered Hat Yai, Songkhla, Phatthalung, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, Krabi, Trang, Pak Bara and Satun. On the way back to KL, we stayed a few days in Perlis and Kedah and visited a few mosques there.

During our Kembara we distributed sets of telekong/sejadah and infaq some funds, contributions from families and friends to the mosques we visited, Alhamdulillah…

Before the start of the month of Ramadan, we held a simple majlis Khatam al-Quran for our Kelas Talaqqi group. The reciting of surah was led by Imam Mohamad Fitri. 

Starting from the first day of Ramadan, our Tadarus Ramadhan group will start reciting two juzuk of the Quran daily. We planned to complete the 30 juzuk by mid-Ramadhan. InsyaAllah...
