“Everyone has talent. What’s rare is the courage to follow it to the dark places where it leads…” - Erica Jong
Day 10: Thursday, 28 March 2024
Route: Cameron Highlands - Kuala Lumpur
Distance: 265 km
Sahur was at 4.30 am. Solat subuh was at Masjid Kayangan Brinchang, an old fully renovated mosque with spacious prayer halls and ablution areas. The weather was about 15°c and chilled me to the bone.

Back at the apartment, took a short nap before checked out around 11.30 am. Drove towards Plus highway via the Simpang Pulai interchange. On the way stopped at Hobbiton Village for photo opportunities and bought some fridge magnets at the souvenir shop.

Drove to Masjid Ahmadiah Simpang Pulai for solat jamak zohor/Asar. This mosque was named Ahmadiah Mosque in honor of Toh Sedewa Diraja Ahmad, the Malay chieftain in this area and also the Orang Besar Enambelas. The glory of Tin Ore Mining in Kampung Kepayang and Simpang Pulai triggered the construction of this mosque in 1905.
Tonight we had iftar and performed solat terawih at our Masjid At-Tayyibin Taman Bidara.
