Marble in India
Quarried from the mines in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh, Indian marbles come in a range of colors and veins. Marble is a reasonably strong and durable stone. In December 2008, the two of us went for a trip to Kashmir and India. After spending a week in Srinagar in Kashmir, we flew to India and visited the cities of New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
