Marble in India

Quarried from the mines in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Andhra Pradesh, Indian marbles come in a range of colors and veins. Marble is a reasonably strong and durable stone. Indian Marble is popular for its beautiful textures, strength, and durability. Marble is considered to be a luxurious natural stone that never goes out of style.

Indian marble is available in numerous varieties, vein patterns and colours, such as white, yellow, beige, green, black and brown.

In December 2008, the two of us went for a trip to Kashmir and India. After spending a week in Srinagar in Kashmir, we flew to India and visited the cities of New Delhi, Agra and Jaipur.
