Today the Applied Science gang decided to meet up for lunch.
The venue for lunch was originally at Satay Samuri in Kajang. Some took the opportunity to ride on the newly launched MRT as there is a 50 per cent discount on tickets until Malaysia's 60th independence day on Aug 31. The completed 51 km Sungai Buloh to Kajang network, called the SBK Line, covers many areas on the north-western and south-eastern periphery of Kuala Lumpur. Even users of the recently expanded LRT system, the Monorail network in downtown KL and the capital city's Bus Rapid Transit will also get 50 per cent discounts until the end of August.
Unfortunately for us, Satay Samuri Kajang was packed with people and there was a long queue of people waiting for orders. We decided to go to Bangi instead and ended up having lunch at Anje Nasi Briyani Gam.
