Feeling tired...

"I have learned now that while those who speak about one's miseries usually hurt, those who keep silence hurt more..." - C.S. Lewis

I don’t get sick too often but I am feeling unsteady today...

I am on my second day of not being able to do anything. I am still having the chills and fever with all energy drained. I am feeling run down and sick. But at least whatsApp is a distraction, I have friends to moan to about how lousy I feel.

I am just going to stay hydrated, have to slow down a while until I feel better.

Hana and Alia at the Aquaria...

"Everything has its wonders even darkness and silence, and I learn, whatever state I may be in, therein to be content..." - Helen Keller

(Our silhouttes against the aquarium)

Hana and Alia skipped school today to go for an outing with grandma and grandpa.

After breakfast, we drove to KLCC to visit the Aquaria KLCC. We were early but there was already a long queue at the ticket counter. The Aquaria opens from 10.30 to 20:00 daily, featuring 60,000 square feet in two levels with a 90-metre underwater tunnel. The tunnel has some very special occupants -the killer sharks. It was an experience to the kids to have a rare, up-close look at the big fishes and large turtles.

The Aquaria houses more than 250 different species and over 5,000 land and aquatic animals from Malaysia and around the world. The Aquaria KLCC is based on the journey of water from the land to the sea. The journey starts in the misty highlands, down through rivers, through the rain forest and mangroves to the coral reefs into the deep blue sea.

Both Hana and Alia were excited to watch colorful fishes and other aquatic creatures, but most of the time Hana will be clinging to the grandpa and Alia to her dad because some big ugly fishes with sharp teeth scare them stiff...

Pray for MH370...

"Learn to trust the journey, even when you do not understand it..."

I know a place where nobody knows your name
I know a place where you could drink the rain
A place where dreams come true in December
All you have to do is remember

I know in this place we could pretend
To sit on clouds and skies would never end
I guess you don't remember the days
When summers dawn and winters would fade

Now the years have passed those days are gone
We've grown up fast and everything seems wrong
The simple days has gone with the years
What's left now? Heartbreak and tears

MH 370 en-route from KLIA to Beijing disappeared without a trace. It's been nearly 2 weeks, but we are still hoping against hope and praying hard for a miracle.

A friend of mine, Norlida is one of the 227 passengers on board...

My migraine is back...

"Men are disturbed not by the things that happen, but by their opinion on the things that happen..." - Epictetus

This is my story of injustice...

I have had migraines all my life, and they were becoming more frequent. That day when I was having my hair washed and my scalp scrubbed and massaged, I complained of pain. The salon girl without hesitation told me that my head is full of ‘angin’. Later when I had an hour of full body massage, I told the masseuse about my headaches and was again told ‘badan banyak angin’.

And lately I have started drinking Nescafe again after a long hiatus. And I presume, the Nescafe, the bad haze, the hot weather and millions of other factors contribute to my headaches. And I am having trouble sleeping at night and this has upset my metabolism.

And with a new bout of bad cough and running nose, I am feeling depressed and miserable...
