“Nothing in life is to be feared; it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less...” - Marie Curie
(Taking a break at GPO) |
With the new norms, many things have changed.
This week Fitri had to work from Putrajaya. The whole family came to KL and stayed in Putramas Apartment. Normally, on sunny days the kids would go swimming with their grandpa. Because of the MCO, the condo management had closed all facilities.
Having spent so many days staying indoor and doing nothing, the kids need to take a much needed break or two to catch a breather. Avoiding the weekend, we brought the four grandchildren to Genting Premium Outlet. Most shops and eateries were opened but the surau and playgrounds were cordoned. As the place was not too overcrowded, the kids were allowed to chase each other around. It was good for them to break a sweat once in a while.
It has been more than three months since Malaysia started living under the Movement Control Order. With all that’s been happening around us we must remember to continue with social distancing and practice good hygiene.
