Chiling Waters and Fish Sanctuary...

"Keep close to Nature's heart and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean..." - John Muir

(Chiling Waterfalls viewed from the bridge)

Chiling Waterfalls is one of the most spectacular and impressive waterfalls in Selangor.

Chiling waterfalls, located on the route to Fraser's Hill make up of three separate vertical waterfalls. To get there you need to trek for about an hour and wade across the Chiling River five times. When you finally reach the waterfalls it is well worth the effort.

Chiling Waterfall is located in a reserve called the Sungai Chiling Fish Sanctuary, a fisheries research project run by the Selangor State Fisheries Department.

(It was once a popular picnic and camping site)
(A steep walk down to the river)
(A long way more to go)
(Beautiful rapids with natural pools, a picnic area)
(Clean clear flow of cool stream water)
(The old bridge is no more in use)
(A new bridge is built next to the old bridge)
(A private property, prohibited to enter)
(Sungai Chiling Fish Santuary)
(The Fish Sanctuary is only opened on certain days)
