"To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon the verdant green hills is the most perfect refreshment..." - Jane Austin

(Having a dip in the cool water) |
After the Sungai Selangor Reservoir there is a side road
leading to Kg Pertak, an Orang Asli settlement. We drove through the Orang Asli
village and paid a small fees to enter the waterfalls area. At the end of the
tarmac road, we parked our car and hiked uphill until we reached a suspension footbridge
across a small stream.
If you follow the steep and uneven jungle trail, which is
slippery when wet, you will reach a ramshackle bridge over Sg Luit. A few
hundred meter after the Sg Luit crossing there is a fork. The right trail leads
to the Sg Luit falls, Bukit Kutu and Lata Medang. The other
trail leads to Lata Jebus.
Any trails you choose, you will not be disappointed. There will be beautiful waterfalls at
the end of the trails.
