After a heavy breakfast we went for a stroll around Gua Musang Lake Garden.
Tasik Ketitir is a beautiful lake garden located adjacent to the Gua Musang Police HQ. It is a small lake with walking trail, an ideal place to brisk walk or jog in the morning or evening. Ketitir Lake was firstly an abandoned mining site. Later the site was beautified and turned into a recreational lake and named as Ketitir Lake after a type of bird species, known as Burung Ketitir. This species of bird could be seen making nests around the trees surrounding the lake area, making the lake as their habitat area.
Visitors strolling around the lake can enjoy the fresh air and the natural flora and fauna grown around the area. There are few resting area located around the lake. From the lake, you can have a beautiful view of Masjid Tg Muhammad Faiz Putra as a background, besides the scenic green mountains surrounding the town.
For those who are looking for a spread of delicious local food with an ambience and a view, the Restoran Dalam Taman D'Tasek is the place. As the name suggests, the restaurant comes in the form of a beautiful Malay traditional house sits at the bank of Gua Musang Lake Garden.
