Today, out of the blue, we decided to drive to Lumut.
From our Bidara House we took the LATAR Expressway then the West Coast Expressway via Kuala Selangor. The expressway is only partially completed, so we exited at Setiawan Toll Plaza and took the trunk road to Lumut. Once completed, this expressway will run between Banting, Selangor and Changkat Jering, Perak.
When we arrived in Lumut, it was already near lunchtime so we started to google for a place to eat. Top of the list was Restoran D’Warisan claimed to promise a variety of menus. It is located in Teluk Muruh. The restaurant is often visited by the visitors from outside Lumut who come for vacation in Pangkor Island or on the nearby beautiful beaches.
If you love seafood, D’Warisan Restaurant is a must visit when you are in Lumut. If you are lucky they will serve kari Ketam, Siput sedut masak lemak and various types of fresh grilled fish and sotong. In addition to seafood, meat and chicken dishes are also available with a selection of ulam2an and sambal belacan.
The peak time is noon when the food prepared is still steaming hot.
