(Enjoying the taste of Balik Pulau durian) |
We entered Penang via Jambatan Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, the second bridge. From there we drove on the Balik Pulau road to BNM Resort in Batu Ferringhi.
On the way, we stopped at one of the many durian stalls to enjoy the delicacy of the 'king of fruits'. The Balik Pulau durian is said to be tastier and different from durians from other places. We chose one large size Musang King to eat there. Although the price was quite pricey, we turned a blind eye as long as the taste was yummy.
In addition to Musang King, other durian types such as Black Thorn and Udang Merah are among those that can be found at this stall.
