Managing the supply chain...

In the morning I was given a short briefing by the Inventory Chief on security arrangement on our GMB consignment. Although the goods will be transported to TUDM Subang early tomorrow morning, I was in the office before 10 p.m. to check on the schedule and logistics. The uploading of boxes took nearly 2 hours to complete. All in all, we have a dozen officers, inclusive of security guards working throughout the night. I managed to rest a while in my office before the contingent started moving at 2.30 a.m.

The 2 kontena were escorted by Police cars and our own security vehicles throughout the journey. At the TUDM airport, they took another 4 hours to download boxes from the Kontena into the Charlie, under tight security.
