Masjid Al-Ahmadi in Changkat Ibol is located approximately 3 km from Kampung Sungai Petai.

Before this mosque was built, all the congregation prayed at Lebai Saad's house in Kg. Titi Gajah as a temporary mosque. Efforts to build this mosque were made by the late Tuan Guru Ayah Tuan Ibraim on a site donated by the late Tuan Hj Jusoh. Building materials from timber from the forest, cut down using axes and pickaxes. This mosque was built before the year 1900.

The current mosque, Masjid Al-Ahmadi was built in 1963 when the space for congregation could not accommodate the increasing population. This mosque was founded by the late Tuan Guru Haji Ahmad bin Junus, a scholar who was born in this village. He was a very knowledgeable scholar and became a reference for the residents of the surrounding villages. Kampung Changkat Ibol is well known for its religious teachers such as the late Tuan Guru Haji Ahmad and the late Ustaz Abdul Wahab bin Abdul Rahman who taught in mosques and suraus in the districts in and around Taiping.

This mosque has undergone several modifications and expansion.
