Masjid Al Qadim is located along Jalan Parit, Beruas, Perak about 2 km from Beruas town.

It was already late when we stopped at Masjid Al-Qadim. The main gate was locked so we only managed to snap a few shots from outside the gate. Masjid Al-Qadim is an old mosque but the exterior looks quite new. There were some on-going renovation works at the mosque.

Beruas is an old town full of history. At one time, the town of Beruas was a stopover town that was very busy with various types of business dealings, especially the buying and selling of tin ore. Pekan Beruas also has a certain uniqueness because it is often associated with the story of the Ganga Negara Kingdom and the Malay Kingdom of Beruas that have disappeared.

The discovery of some artefacts has actually already been found by the villagers and historical researchers and the artefacts can be seen at the Beruas Museum.
