It all started when Indian traders wanted to turn the area into a thriving business hub as well as provide a one-stop centre for the Indian community in the area. Shops and stalls here sell almost everything from traditional clothing, colourful, bright sarees, textiles, jewellery and accessories to garlands made of fresh flowers. If you pass by any Indian restaurant you could see the spread of scrumptious Indian delicacies and could smell the aromatic scents of curry spices.
