When we mention of Little India, we automatically think of Jalan Masjid India or Brickfields in KL as they are the more famed ones. But, there are other Little India places in Malaysia that’s worth visiting as well. One of them is Klang Little India, located along Jalan Tengku Kelana in Klang believed to be the largest Indian-influenced street in Malaysia.

It all started when Indian traders wanted to turn the area into a thriving business hub as well as provide a one-stop centre for the Indian community in the area. Shops and stalls here sell almost everything from traditional clothing, colourful, bright sarees, textiles, jewellery and accessories to garlands made of fresh flowers. If you pass by any Indian restaurant you could see the spread of scrumptious Indian delicacies and could smell the aromatic scents of curry spices.

There are many heritage buildings and attraction sites around Little India.

During Deepavali, Klang’s Little India is transformed into a colorful spectacle of light and sound. Indian and non-Indian shoppers will throng the street and makes shopping here a unique experience.
