As we have not yet perform our prayers we drove about 2 km from the main road into Kampung Tanjung Sepat Darat to look for Masjid Al-Makmur. The mosque is beautiful with modern design. Its magnificent tower and tall dome in the middle of the building are clearly visible from afar.

According to history, the earliest settlement in kampung Tanjung Sepat was Mahmud Min with four other families from Java. The early phase of their exploration began with growing vegetables in addition to relying on fishing. The population in Tanjung Sepat increase with the presence of several families from Kuala Selangor who want to explore and live in the traditional village.
